About the Academy

A community shaped by faith, grounded in Malabon.

St. James Academy is a Catholic learning community formed by parents, teachers, alumni, and clergy who believe that education is a vocation — and that every child belongs.

Mission & Vision

What we hold, who we are, and where we are going

Our Mission

To form learners after the heart of Christ.

We provide a holistic Catholic K–12 education that integrates faith, academics, and service. We accompany every student in discovering their calling — academically prepared, morally grounded, and ready to serve the Church and the nation.

We work in partnership with parents as the first educators of their children, and with the parish as the spiritual home of our community.

Our Vision

A Christ-centered Catholic Learning Community.

We envision St. James Academy Malabon as a school where Christ is truly at the center — of the classroom, of the playground, of the chapel, and of every relationship. A school whose graduates are recognized for their integrity, scholarship, and quiet courage.

We envision a community of formators who teach not for a profession alone, but for a mission.

Catholic Identity

Putting Christ at the Center, not at the edges.

To be a Catholic school is more than a label on a gate. It means that the Eucharist is the source and summit of our school life; that the catechism is taught with conviction; and that the Beatitudes shape how we discipline, encourage, and form character.

It means our teachers pray for their students by name. It means our science classes do not apologize for wonder, and our literature classes do not shy from truth. It means we are unembarrassed about Jesus.

That is what we mean when we say: Putting Christ at the Center.

III
